godsmack-ed!!

short and sweet, pure and powerful.. that was Godsmack for you in just 4 simple words! heavy basslines, metal-laden riffs and sully's powerful vocals.. an amazing mix. this is the third time i'm watching them live, and they only seem to get better and more professional as time passes. they kicked off with 'straight out of line', and moved on to 'awake' before the crowd could even catch its breath!

sully did an excellent job of warming up the house for metallica.. getting the crowd involved.. and of course, doing what they do best - playing kick-ass music! 'whatever', 'keep away', 'dead and broken', 'faceless', 'i stand alone' all got airtime.. all in all a good selection from all their albums.. though they didn't do anything off their acoustic album. Smackheads were hoping that they'd play a longer set than the 70 minutes they got.. though to compensate for that sully got onto a parallel drumkit and played out a duel on the drums with shannon driving everyone wild!!
