nice quiet day

yeah, it's good to have a few days where absolutely nothing happens too.. give the ol' bodies some time to heal and repair damage etc.. an extra shift opened up at work, so i jumped at the chance to mint some more moolah.. was in the library from 12 to 8.. and it was ok cos' people kept coming and going, then i kept meeting people online too, besides there was online scrabble to fill up the other quiet moments.. it's almost minimum wage, but it's minimum effort too, and that pretty much clinched it for me!!

FIFA announced their shortlist for Player of the Year - it should be interesting this year, since the last season had all sorts of unfancied winners - Porto for Champs' League and Greece for Euro 2004.. will FIFA have the balls to make a small club player the player of the year? let's see..
