nightshift

this week my work hours moved to nightshift.. i.e. 10pm to 8am. i'd like to tell you i settled right into it, but i can't cos right now i have no idea whether i am coming or going, about to sleep or about to wake up. even though its Tuesday morning, but by work-time it's still Monday night. my body tells me it's late and i should sleep but my head says no it's morning and i have errands to run and things to do.

i started digging up info on shift workers, and turned up a whole Pandora's box of information. tips on sleeping, diet, activities.. and then some tips for management too to make sure they have happy shift workers, which i am going to be looking at implementing at some level too! finally here are some pretty interesting facts about the night shift workforce, in case you're wondering what i am going on about!

i'd write a more coherent blog, but now i really need some shuteye.. besides my tummy is rumbling like a leopard snoring, and i dare not wake the beast lest he eats too much and then i can't sleep! see y'all later, good night!
