the offensive screen

American Football has this particularly efficient set of moves called 'The Screen Package'.. usually when a team wants to rush defenses into making hasty decisions.. there are a variety of screens to choose from.

The success of the offense depends on calling the right screen(1.) against the defensive matchup. With the wide receiver(2.) screens(1.), it is a simple execution play and a lot depends on the ability of the wide receiver(2.) to run after the catch. The big positive in screens is that they are basically simple to execute and provide the quarterback(3.) with the chance for a big play against an attacking defense(4.).

1.) screen - weekly surprise meeting *[surprise cos every week i'm surprised yet another week has passed!]
2.) wide receiver - research results
3.) quarterback - yours truly!
4.) defense - yours truly's advisor!!
