Fawlty Towers, Woodstock, NY

definitely one of my more eccentric dreams for quite some time!! the famous Fawlty Towers, the inn-keeper comedy sitcom starring John Cleese has always been one of my favourite Brit-comedies, and i immensely enjoyed playing the Spanish waiter Manuel in it in my college drama days. so in the crazy dream i had last night, we were playing this particular episode, where Manuel is at his eloquent, hyperactive best.

the strange thing was that in the dream, the stage was in Woodstock, NY.. during the original Woodstock Festival in 1969!! and of course, the other roles were played by some legendary rockstars.. i distinctly remember Jimi Hendrix playing the role of Lord Melbury, Sybil Fawlty by Janis Joplin and Basil Fawlty acted by, who else.. Jim Morrison! (who famously did not play at Woodstock), i don't seem to remember anyone else though.. though i distinctly recall being stoned during the performance! (of course!)

NB: morbid coincidence.. all three people mentioned above died when they were 27!! for all means and purposes i have eight months left!! there's a good reason why i never took up music!
