heaven's on the way

it's been a simply blissful weekend, sailed through it beautifully. we made the investment and bought a chillum finally. the vessel of all goodness is a chrome-plated knurled cylinder.. with a transparent red plastic inner chamber.. where the winds of change blow from, filling my intrinsic being with the sweet fog.. the swirling mists of which i rise from, and where i will finally lie

riiight, and i'm back to all soberness again (until my next hit that is!;-)).. woke up around lunchtime, went through the morning ablutions, then had a pasta lunch leftover from last night (thank you natasha, you're a godsend!) watched the colts come from behind to backstab the titans.. then was the stupid bills game.. where we got bitch-slapped all over the black hole that is the raiders' stadium.

quite severely pissed off, we smoked a few more to chill out, then watched 'how high', 'rush hour' and 'gone in 60 seconds'.. that was a good break. had some nice simple dal-chawal for dinner, then rolled a philly blunt.. whassup dawg!! later went over to the love shack to sample some of mal's excellent cake - thank you!!

goddammit.. yet another weekend flashes by, and yet another dreary week rears its ugly menacing head. i can hear it rumbling "there's work to be done.."

"away with you!!" i shout back as i backpedal into a corner, stumbling, trying to avoid the beast facing me.

"you shall be held accountable for this.." it goes on, taking slow, stalking steps towards me.

"nay" i say, "nay, i shall not fear thee, for what you are is nothing but a part of me". i see it wince, so i go on "aye, i can banish you whenever it suits me, for what drives you is what is within me.. and i shall not be brought down by false prophecies." the beast cowers, and falls back! so i drive home the final nail "the light burns bright inside of me, and i am strong.. strong.. STRONG!!"

whew! what was that!! some trip!! some good shit we on dawg!!
