Thursdays @ The Square

hundreds of nubile and willing teenagers, gallons of chilled labatt's beer, puffs of weed smoke wafting by, warm and clement weather, and thousands of watts of brainblowing rock shaking the downtown.. yes, welcome to Thursdays @ The Square! every year, the buffalo downtown organises a free concert on thursday afternoons throughout summer to kick the buffalo weekend off right. :-)

today was a bit of a kickass show.. Breaking Point started it off pretty well, and their single 'Show Me A Sign' will go places. then Submersed dropped some heavy riffs.. 'Rock n' Roll Workout', 'Divide The Hate' and 'Hollow' are off their debut album. finally the main act for the day Theory Of A Deadman came in.. this canadian quartet came through in Nickelback's wake.. but unfortunately are too similar sounding and repetitive.. 'Make Up Your Mind', 'Nothing Can Come Between Us' and 'No Surprise' being their biggest singles. A-Rod, sank, surabhi & i went, and had a pretty good time too.
